Supporting Scripture: Psalm 22 vs 3
Title of Message: When all else fails, Praise God!
Delivered by: Judah Senoo
I want to share with you, one of the secrets of being successful in the Kingdom of God; That is learning to cultivate a atmosphere of praise and learning to praise God.
Praise is simply appreciating God for who he is, for what he has done for you and what he will do for you in times to come.
The Bible tells us to enter his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise (Psalm 100 vs 4-5). Prayer can take you far but you should understand that praise also can take you further.
Psalm 22 vs 3 tells us that “God inhabits the praises of His people” so, If prayer takes your call (needs/requests) to God, praise will bring Him to you. So be thankful to God all the time, praise him and acknowledge him for this is the surest way to guarantee his presence around you all the time.
Where the presence of God is, you will find healing, deliverance and other miracles. When it is ‘Praise and Worship’ time during church service, you should give it your all. Praise God to the best of your ability because there he is, within the praises of His people.
Exodus 15 vs 11 – Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
This verse is a great example of Praise and an example of the type of praise that our God loves. We read about David and his keen attitude towards praise. Despite his issues and personal flaws, his attitude towards praising his God was flawless.
Sometimes life will put you in a bad or miserable situation. Often during these times, many of us will complain and become embittered. Our complaints will take our minds and focus away from God, focusing solely on the problem around us and not on God.
Acts 16 vs 23-40 tells us about Paul and Silas being imprisoned for simply preaching the Gospel. At night they would be praising and worshiping God despite being in a bad situation and terrible physical conditions. Soon they would be free and go on testify of Gods mercy.
This morning let us remember to always be in a thankful place and praise God always no matter the situation we are in.
God loves you, he cares about you and you are not alone, but learn to praise God.
Anytime you show appreciation for God showing His finger in your life, you will end up seeing His hand in your life and when you give thanks to God for placing His hand in your life, he will stretch out His arm towards you.
